In the center of every kernel
of corn, there is a cornfield.
In the center of every human
there is a world of people.
Hold onto nothing.
Let Birth.

Butterfly Meditation
The wings of the butterfly
are the wings of the Goddess
speckled by the tears of her devotees.
Everything is made in this way.
As the Goddess cries out, we are made.
As we cry to her, She is birthed into form.
We are the butterfly, ever fluttering back
to the nectar of Her heart.
Jai Ma! O Great Mother!
are the wings of the Goddess
speckled by the tears of her devotees.
Everything is made in this way.
As the Goddess cries out, we are made.
As we cry to her, She is birthed into form.
We are the butterfly, ever fluttering back
to the nectar of Her heart.
Jai Ma! O Great Mother!
Everything Is In Reverse
Everything is in reverse.
What you see is the shadow of doubt
blocking the light.
The habit of forgetting is strong.
Where were you when the world began?
You were the words being formed in my mouth.
Look how I speak you into being
moment by moment, word by word.
Elohim! My name is your name
and the names of all things.
Move into the temple of your heart;
Do not go out for one second!
The partnership of two Lovers,
the No Beginning and No End,
is like the sun and moon.
People say, look how they rise and fall.
Though there is no rising for them,
nor is there falling. There is merely
spinning. Everything is spinning
in the dance of the Lovers.
It is a wedding feast thrown
by the Great Mother.
You must crack in order to be whole.
Look at the earth. She is always
shifting -- the plates of the earth
do not stay in one place for long.
Look at the elk bone, bleached
by the sun -- the cracks are where
you see the face of God.
Oh, my daughter, listen to the cardinals
and the whippoorwills, how they sing to you!
What you see is the shadow of doubt
blocking the light.
The habit of forgetting is strong.
Where were you when the world began?
You were the words being formed in my mouth.
Look how I speak you into being
moment by moment, word by word.
